Why is it that all the good stuff is in the junkyard? Seriously, even the really GOOD stuff is in the junkyard and not because it’s junk, because junkyard owners have this amazing ability to get awesome equipment and keep it on their property. Case in point, this British Sultan Command Vehicle. Clearly this thing is parked at a junkyard and if we know junkyard owners, more than a couple hapless cars have been squashed by his 5.9L Cummins powered tank-like beast.

So what is it? Well this is a mobile command center that has a room in the back where a commanding officer can communicate with the guys in the battle, can have a map reading area, and basically have moving access to the things he needs to oversee an operation from the ground level. There’s a spot for a driver and a couple other guys in what has to be some tight quarters. This one has just had the driver periscope updated, so that is pretty sweet!

About the size of a large pickup truck, it weighs roughly 17,000lbs and according to the ad has plenty of life left on the track pads, and the engine has recently been serviced. Considering the fact that a decent pickup truck these days will run you more than $40,000 the selling price on this Sultan at $38,500 is downright reasonable.

Social distancing will not be your problem when you wheel this steel box down the road. No siree, people will be clearing the way for you! If they don’t? Let’s just say we hope that those in front of you have reinforced roofs.
