I’m not too concerned about the end of civilization, but I certainly dig a full tilt zombie killing machine and I think this 1995 Ford F-350 4×4 Diesel Ambulance could be the ultimate starting point! Not too much lift, since it’s already tall, but as much tire as you can fit with the smaller lift. Gears, lockers front and rear, a rack up top, gun turret of course, and an interior conversion that makes it nice to sleep and eat in and you are good to go! Okay, there is a little more work to it than that, but man what a base to start with. And they are asking less than $20,000 for this thing, with only 30,000 miles on it.
