Our friends at Classic Car Liquidators showed us this ‘64 Suburban a week back and we’re in LOVE. This big, bad ride came to them halfway finished with the interior needing finished, body alignment off, and paint in need of some love. Mechanically, she was a peach with a 5.3L LS & 4L60E to keep it cruising.
In the approaching months of Hot Rod Power Tour 2017, they sold their HRPT plan A vehicle, a 1970 Buick Estate Wagon. When trying to figure out what the new ride for the mechanic and photo guys, they defaulted to the Suburban. Not a bad Plan A!
After HRPT, they took the big old ‘Burb and spent time making her right with a Root Beer, or as we call it, Bourbon Metallic paint job. A few weeks back, they decided it was cool as is, but it would be cooler sucking pavement.
Indeed it is… Before Cruisin’ the Coast and GoodGuys, they installed RideTech’s CoolRide system and now its sucking pavement. This is a killer proven ride that you could cruise across the country tomorrow and win every show you stop at. This ride is indeed the perfect classic cruiser. Check out this video of it BEFORE they installed air ride and check out more details on it via the button below!

If it were a 60-63 I’d be damn tempted.
