If you don’t know Quagmire then we might have to pull your BangShiftXL truck guy card. This truck was featured in all kinds of stuff in the 1990’s and was on the cover of Petersen’s 4-Wheel and Off-Road in 1995. It competed in the 1998 Top Truck Challenge and is renowned as one seriously bad ass rig full of all kinds of cool features. It has full air ride on it, including a custom cantilever system out back controlling the 5-ton rockwell axle. Up front the Dana 60 and 39.5 Boggers look small in comparison to the Firestone 48x25x20 flotation tires out back. Everything about this truck screamed excess when it was built and it’s no different today. With a built 572 big block Chevrolet under the hood and nitrous in the bed we’re pretty sure this thing will haul some ass too. This is a 1979 completely custom truck built for the 1998 Top Truck Challenge.  To my knowledge, it was built by the original owner/driver named Mike Neibuhr who must have been a very talented individual by the looks of the truck.  It is set up to mud race, rock crawl, sand drag, sled pull, or anything you choose, as it has all of the above and more.  Quagmyr is a 1979 Chevrolet K-30, tubbed and narrowed with 48x25x20 Firestone flotation deep treads, 20×20 custom Midwest Wheel Specialties aluminum wheels.  The rear is a custom cantilever rocker arm air-ride suspension offering 10″ of wheel travel.  The front is air-ride with cab controlled ride height for for all 4 corners.  This truck can look slammed or look like it has a 6-8″ lift with the push of a button to air the bags up, The quad shocks per axle are adjustable dampening RS9000 Ranchos.  The rear axle is a one-off custom narrowed 5-ton Rockwell H-172 dump truck rear end with 5:86 gears, Detroit locker and 2″ 39 spline 300M billet axles, Wilwood 13″ rotors, Front tires are 38.5″ Boggers with nearly new tread on 16.5×12″ Weld wheels.  The front axle is a Dana 60, Detroit locked with 4:56 gears and 35 spline 1.5″ custom Moser Engineering axles with lock-outs.  The motor is a Fuel injected stroked big block 572″ Chevy (around 675hp without nitrous). It has a 300hp shot of nitous with bottle in the bed but truthfully have never used since owning it, so not sure if it works but would assume so. The transfer case is a New Process 205 T-case with custom industrial driveshafts, TH-400 transmission with hardened shafts and Kevlar clutches freshly rebuilt (around $6,000).  The box sides are removeable Performance Fiberglass skins, along with 54″x30″ tubs.  The hood is fiberglass true cold air induction.  The paint is Red with white pearl fading to charcoal pearl tiger flames.  The interior has automated guages with a Smittybilt cage for protection.  It has custom aluminum bumpers, tool box, and 31 gallon fuel cell.  It has 12,000lb Warn winches front and rear tucked inside tailgate for whichever direction you may get stuck.  This truck with can be used for off-road, competitions, or is very close to street legal as it has lights, blinkers, near stock interior, etc!  Feel free to Google “Quagmyr” or “Quagmire” top truck/mud truck.  There is plenty of good stories/pictures to back up the amazing history of this truck!  Own a legend, bid now!  Feel free to call or text 620-617-4612 with any questions before bidding and I will be happy to answer to the best of my knowledge.  The only known small issues with the truck is the front drivers airbag leaks off slowly and won’t stay up (easy fix or replace it) and could use a fresh tune to make it less slobbery off the line but it idles/runs and sounds bada$$ just could use a good tune by a professional.  Own this truck at a fraction of the original build price.  Truck will only be available for local pick up and is sold as is.  Can send more pics or walk around video upon request.
