This 1980 Chevrolet C30 Crew Cab Dually Is Patina Greatness And Has Just 10,000 Original Miles!

This sucker has been sitting under a tarp for the last 20 years after spending a few years just as the tow vehicle for the family 5th wheel trailer, which meant it made just a few trips in its life and has just over 10,000 original miles. Just when you think these things can’t exist, here they are. As you all well know, I’m a square body dually guy and I love them. This one has great patina, although I’m sure there are a couple areas that are bordering on rust, so whoever gets it really needs to make sure they stop anything bad from continuing. I like the look, although I’d like it a little better with it laid out on its nuts. With that said, I would leave the drivetrain alone, other than to add a GearVendors Overdrive to make that 4.10 gear happier on the highway.

This truck is full of options, and is in great shape. The dash has some cracks, and there are areas that clearly have felt their age while sitting under the tarp, but because the thing has low mileage much of it has been preserved. Looking at it I would have guessed it lived in the Pacific Northwest or something, but the seller is in Texas so we’ll assume it is from the Lone Star State. Regardless, it is cool. We wouldn’t have to do but a couple things like putting a new dash pad on it and a couple little things to make sure all the switches for the door locks and windows are in good working order.

Overall though we’d mostly enjoy watching people stare at it and make comments in drive thrus, gas station parking lots, and at shows. It would be rad. Don’t you think?

This looks shaky in a few spots. like the rocker on the driver side where all the paint is gone. A truck with 12k on the clock could not have had a person get in and out so many times as to remove all paint. Sure looks like new seat covers not well maintained originals. Buyer beware on this one. Might be worth having but not for big bucks

Bidding over $14k this morning! I’m a square body fan and have owned three crew cab duallies over the years but this is freakin’ nut$.

Old, slow, and creaky. owned them in the day. Love them, but not that great of an investment, especially if you want to work them hard.
