Halfass Kustoms $0 1951 Ford Rat Rod Project: Cutting Up A Functional Set Of Headers To Make Less Functional Headers

Well, he’s back at it and rolling on with the zero dollar budget rod build. It’s looking like a real truck, and it’s even got an engine in it now! But if this thing is going to be more than yard art, which it is certainly turning into, then it’s going to need to be able to stop and steer. So watch and see how that goes together, because in typical Brent fashion he’s flying by the seat of his pants and we love him for it.

We love Brent’s drive and determination, but it may be his resourcefulness and creativity with used parts that impresses me most. I remember when I first started watching his channel, and he was doing a chop top on some winter driver 4-door Mercury. What impressed the hell out of me was the fact that he went out to his roof pile, yes he has a pile of roofs from cars and trucks, and picked one that already had the shape he wanted to he didn’t have to cut up the entire stock roof to try and shape it. I fell in love with the idea of a roof pile and now I can’t help but follow his projects because you never know what kind of cool he’s going to pull out of thin air.

So when Brent says he’s going to put together a cool 1951 Ford Rat Rod, with a zero dollar budget, I don’t scoff the idea. In fact I just get excited when I hear him say something like that. So what kind of cool rat rod goodness will this one have in it? I’m pretty sure it’s going to be exciting, even if I’m not quite sure how this whole thing will turn out. But if you can build a car that is just fun to cruise around, using nothing but spare parts and extras, you are going to have an absolute riot in it.

Here’s the third video from the build.
