Flowmaster’s latest FlowFX Cat-Back Exhaust System is for the 1999-2006 (and 2007 1500-series Classic) with the 4.3L V6, 4.8L V8, or 5.3L V8 in trucks that are either Crew Cab with the 5.5-foot bed, or the Extra Cab with the 6.5-foot bed only. This exhaust is manufactured using durable 409 stainless steel throughout and features a 3.0-inch to dual 2.5-inch mandrel bent pipe layout for better exhaust gas flow. A FlowFX “straight-through” muffler is used for a moderate to mild sound level and maximum performance. Maximum increases on the dyno revealed +14 horsepower and +13 ft-lb at the rear wheels. This system exits on the passenger side, before the rear wheel with dual 4.0-inch black ceramic tips for added style and a custom look. The system uses all the factory hanger locations and includes installation instructions and all necessary hardware for an easy installation that you can do at home.
