When Robby Gordon straps into a Trophy Truck, everyone on the planet knows he’s going to be fast. In fact, there are quite a few off road pros who say that he’s ALWAYS the fastest guy in the dirt, it’s just a matter of whether on not he’ll make it to the finish line with all the parts on his truck still working. Well, on Thursday the SCORE Baja 1000 Trophy Trucks gave the citizens of Las Vegas a sneak peek of what they could expect to see during the 2014 Baja 1000, when they rolled into Las Vegas Motor Speedway for qualifying.

Robby is such a controversial driver that you just have to love the guy. To me he is the off road equivelant of Dale Sr when it comes to intensity and telling it like it is.
I go to the Parker 425 every year and he is by far one of THE fastest drivers there….
Like… most guys will be averaging 85-90mph through one part of the course and he’ll rip by doing 110-115 and in total control. A true sight to behold..
Robbie’s an awesome driver, rooted for him in Imsa, Cart, and Score but his attitude blew the golden handshake from Ford. Didn’t fare any better with Toyota. Still root for him at Dakar an Baha, but he’s lucky he’s got Dads money behind him.
