Chances are if you’re a reader of automotive books you have likely read the words of Tom Cotter. The author of several books about barn finds, he now has a show on the Hagerty YouTube channel called Barn Find Hunter where he goes around the country and locates neat stuff that is either hiding in plain sight or just hiding from sight all together. Here’s in Big Sky Country on this episode. There are trucks, Mustangs, cool people, and beautiful places. We like how Cotter operates on this show letting the owners and the cars tell the stories.
Some people may take this show the wrong way as some kind of automotive decay porn but the fact that the owners are involved and are hands on, sharing their passion and love for the stuff they have makes it pretty cool. If it were just about showing rusted stuff the show would not be half as good.
We’re obviously partial to Power Wagons around here so this one is extra cool to us. Wanting on truck we found ourselves jealous of a dude who has amassed NINE of the suckers! The history and information is good, the stories are fun, and the cars are the stars. Give it a watch.

It would take a he\’ll of a mustang to be worth more than a good Power Wagon! I am doing a bare frame rebuild on a 50 B1 power wagon it will be better than brand new when done and I expect to get at least 100 when it goes up for sale this spring!
