Hearing that Bryce Menzies has won another race is surely no surprise to anyone, as this Redbull team seems to have winning down to a fine art. But King of the Hammers is relatively new stomping ground for Trophy Truck racers, so getting to add a Hammers win to the resume is pretty special. Any off-road racer knows Johnson Valley, home to King of the Hammers, and considers this hallowed ground. Home to some of the west’s most famous rock crawling, right in the middle of wide open desert and dry lake beds, there is something for everyone in Johnson Valley. Regardless of the kind of wheeling you like you will find it there. Fortunately for the Trophy Truck racers, they were not expected to conquer the rock crawling portions of the full King of the Hammers route, but that didn’t mean they weren’t still punished by the terrain of Johnson Valley.
Lucky for us, Bryce Menzies crew put together a cool video showing the variety of terrain, the awesome high speeds, and the incredible performance that resulted in Menzies bringing home the win in 2021. Watching the suspension move on one of these Trophy Trucks at speed is truly something special. I can’t get enough of it. Can you?
