When you are first starting on your fabrication skills you typically start off with small brackets and projects that are of a smaller scale. But when it’s time to step up and start doing bigger projects, it is sometimes intimidating and hard to choose what the project will be. This one right here is the perfect big, but simple, fabrication project. While this set does use bent tubing, you wouldn’t have to. The rest of the project can be done with just a grinder and a welder. MIG, TIG, Stick, it doesn’t matter, you can weld it however you like and will create a great bolt on set of rock sliders that will look cool and do the job.

The great thing about a project like this is that while it is simple, you end up with a big payoff kind of project. They look cool, people will notice them, and when you tell them that you made them they will be impressed. Again, the perfect kind of fabrication project.
