High Flying Short Course And Pre Runner Fun At TCB Ranch In SoCal

When we did the Junkyard Challenge off-road truck build show last year it was an absolute riot hanging out at TCB Ranch near Murrieta California. I called the ranch home for more than a week, and had a great time enjoying the quiet at night after having a great time watching killer trucks come together during the day. The ranch is big, it’s fun to drive around on, and it has some killer trails that are a riot in anything with two or four wheels. But the part that grabs the most attention, and is arguably the most fun to see attacked by horsepower, is the short course track with the giant stepup jump we used for the long jump competition during the show. In that competition, using junkyard built trucks, the winners went more than 100 feet through the air off of it. In this video from the gang at Shreddy Lyfe, you’ll see them doing the same thing with some serious off-road race and pre-runner rigs.

What is extra cool is seeing the racers get so excited being there for the first time as it has been on their list for a while. If you can’t have fun at this place then you can’t have fun in an off-road environment. Sure it’s dusty and hot and all that, but man it’s also so damn fun!
