Is This One Of The Sickest 1952 GMC Trucks On The Planet? Wickam Sure Thinks So, Is He Right?

(Words by Charles Wickam) Tre 5 Customs is known for building some of the cleanest trucks on the west coast. Located in the suburbs of Phoenix AZ, they have been impacting the western states’ truck scene for decades. The latest piece to come out of the shop is this incredibly beautiful 1952 GMC truck. This is a truck I want to see up close, and in person, cause I’m sure the footage in this video isn’t doing it justice.

The first thing that has to pop out at you is this shade of blue. No fancy metallics or candies, a simple mix of light to medium blue on a truck where the majority of the sheet metal is stock but with a few liberties taken to make everything flow. And that stance! Laying running boards on the ground, which is the only way these trucks should be built by the way, is pure perfection.

And while I’m not always a big fan of oversized wheels, the 20-inch aftermarket artillery wheels fit perfectly in the wheel wells, with no big tires sticking out through the bed floor or left exposed in the engine compartment. Every piece of sheet metal was touched in one way or another to complete an incredible fit and finish. I’m not going to spoil any more babbling on and let you check out one of the best 49-54 gm trucks on this planet.
