Shawn Ellington, aka Murder Nova, is one of those die hard Chevrolet guys that I can relate to. So you know that the fact that his wife daily drives a Bronco just chaps his ass. That fact makes it completely understandable that he would then purchase a K5 Blazer to replace said Bronco without really consulting said better half. I’ve tried this scheme myself, and it’s a crap shoot as to how it works and is typically directly related to the overall condition of whatever you buy “for them”. The fact that this K5 drives so nice and is an easy visit away from beautiful thanks to Shawn’s Dad’s bodyshop, insures that Mrs. Murder Nova will be getting a really nice piece to drive.

Of course that assumes that she can hold onto it, because now Shawn and their son and everyone else wants this thing.

In this video there is a lot of fun going on, along with a lot of work, in preparation for getting this thing in two tone paint. The back story is good, the stories are fun, and this is the kind of video we love because this is the real Shawn. He’s genuinely fun to be around and it’s cool to see him at the shop with his Dad, his lovely wife, and a super cool K5.
