The AutoRevolution boys did a great series called the OBS Clash where they got this cool OBS Tahoe low and cool like a proper sport truck. But the black paint on this bad boy has seen better days and was in need of some love to come back to life. So they did a whole paint correction process and you need to check it out and see how it turned out. This thing is rad and boy does it shine now!
Video Description:
Our project Tahoe’s black exterior had seen better days, but resurrecting 20-plus-year-old neglected paint, especially black paint can be done. The body had some dings and dents, but otherwise in great shape. The finish was just simply rough, literally.
We headed over to Auto Sauce, where Jeff Sharell showed us the steps to resurrect the paint by getting rid of the baked-in dirt, contaminants, and who knows what else.
Starting with Auto Sauce’s waterless wash, clay bar with quick detail spray, and an acid-based water spot remover allowed us to start working on the clear coat to bring back that deep shine with several stages of cutting and polishing.
In the next video, we take things inside to clean up the interior of the Tahoe, from the carpeting to the leather seats.

Tahoe Unlimited
The now classic Chevrolet CK or OBS Sport Truck is one of the hottest (priciest) rides of this generation. While everyone wants that retro single-cab truck, the SUVs of the era, including the iconic Tahoe have the same style, and platform and are easier to find for less.
And we are starting off with a special edition Tahoe based on a Tahoe SS concept that was never made. In the year 2000, as new body-style trucks and SUVs were on their way….Chevrolet combined the increased handling and performance of the Police Package Tahoe, with some styling cues from the Tahoe SS and all the luxury of the time period they could to produce only 8,500 Tahoe Limited SUVs.
