Recoil 4: BJ Baldwin Goes Romping Through Cuba Like Only A Trophy Truck Pilot Can

We don’t spend a lot of time being envious of other people or things. It is not a healthy way to go through life. That being said, we’re not perfect and between Ken Block and BJ Baldwin, we’re green when we see these guys take to the streets of a cool city or in the case of Recoil 4 a foreign country and let it all hang out. Baldwin stars in the fourth version of a series that has seen him in all different types of places but none of them has been as cool as this!

He starts in the capitol city of Havanna and works his way through the countryside, through the jungle, over the beach, and eventually to a pretty kick ass looking party on the water. The whole time he is jumping stairs, powering over a stutter step course of huge logs, and flying his truck like the beast that he is.

This may be one of the great illustrations of just how bad ass a trophy truck is. You lose the scale of the speed and the ability for the suspension to do the crazy stuff it does when the trucks are in the desert. However when you put them in a city setting or even the right confines of the jungle or public roads, the perspective change is drastic and dramatic.

Add in the bellowing soundtrack of the truck’s V8 engine and you have a mix of great visuals and noise that even the least educated off road fan can appreciate. We’re not sure if the control arms on these trucks are usually chromed but his are and they look GOOD under that wide body.

So no, we’re not just a little envious of BJ Baldwin and this experience, we’re A TON JEALOUS OF IT.
