Any race in Baja is going to be awesome, regardless of the distance. Sure the Baja 1000 is the big boy, but the 500, the San Felipe 250, and any other race there for that matter, are awesome to participate in and watch. Hell, we know that if we gave any of you reading this, the opportunity to race in Baja, even if it was only for 100 miles, you’d jump at the chance. This is a killer place to race. So when SCORE International announced a new event for 2019, the Inaugural Lucerna 400, we were not alone in being excited. Teams were thrilled as well, as desert racing is in a great growth mode these past couple years, with bigger purses, more races, and even more media and tv attention than ever. We for one want to race in Baja really badly, and love going down there to watch the races.
But it is always fun to see what the races are like from the Team’s own eyes. You know, getting their own perspective on what it is like to compete and suffer and win in Baja. Thankfully, the Peacock Racing Team, Elias Hanna, and more put out cool videos about their adventures during the Lucerna 400 and we decided we had to share them both with you. Watch them both below and let us know which team you would have wanted to be a part of!
