I’m a big fan of crew cab trucks, and especially those that either didn’t exist or were super rare back in the 1960s. There are a couple of builders in the country doing C50 and C60 GM trucks, where they start with a standard cab truck and build everything to make it into a crew cab. It’s a ton of work, but the guys that are good at it are really good at it. So when I saw this 1960 Ford that Solomon was featuring, I had to share.
This is a 1960 F850, which did not exist in the crew cab configuration you see here originally. It was built from a couple of truck bodies, and then got a chassis swap as well. So while it is one cool rig, it certainly wasn’t an easy build. Here is all the info from Solomon. Enjoy the video.
