All eyes are on the upcoming Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction, mainly due to the Ron Pratte collection going across the block. But if you take the time and dig through the docket on the B-J auctions, there are a lot of hidden gems that tend to get overlooked. In particular, this particular Jade Green 1977 Ford F-150 Ranger XLT.
The description checks about every possible box anyone could want: 65,000 miles. One owner, with the truck still on it’s original 1977 title. “Senior owner”, and looking at the truck, there is absolutely no doubt that if the owner wasn’t senior, they did care about this truck. Rust? What rust? I wouldn’t be afraid to eat off of any surface of this truck.
The 400 and C6 automatic just make the truck that much sweeter, and it’s equipped with power steering and power brakes too. In the back is the original double-door canopy, and the original tailgate was in packing and storage since the truck was bought. The F-150 came out of Oregon and is crossing the block as Lot #377.
I’d want it. Pretty sweet ride as-is. Likely will go for low dough though.
Lovely truck. The Alcoa wheels aren’t original but look great.
400m… blah
Nice truck I will be sure to check it out when I am there, but this will likely be way over my budget
Very nice truck.
