(By Jason Mazzotta) – They say everything is bigger in Texas and I guess that can be said for this mud truck crash as well, where we see a monster wheelstand, the loss of a wheel, continuation of the run, and miraculously avoiding a rollover. These elements all combine to make this video completely Bangshift worthy! The “Wild Thang” Chevy mud bogger driven by Ronnie Ricker lined up looking to make a strong pass and definitely had it set on kill for this hit at The Great Texas Mud Race in Nacogdoches, Texas in 2012.

Ricker stages up against the jeep and leaves the starting line instantly going skyward, avoiding the backflip Ricker lifts off the throttle and comes crashing down hard to the ground. The issue here s that the hard landing ended up smashing the left front tire right off the truck, but who needs that one anyways?

Ricker flattens it again running out the 200 foot mud pit in 3.27 seconds but things get interesting again when he lifts off the throttle because the nose digs in and the truck goes into a brutal bucking sequence. We’re sure Ronnie was getting beat up pretty good inside the truck when all of this was going on and we’re also sure he was hoping that he didn’t end up on his lid. Luckily ended up on his three remaining wheels and avoided any rollovers or ultimately ending up in a turtle-like situation. Ricker drove the truck like a boss and definitely has the three-wheel record in a 200ft mud pit.
