The trails are open, the weather isn’t complete crap out and the rock bouncers are up and going! We are looking forward to the upcoming year of watching footage as these absolutely insane off-roaders tackle whatever gets in their way, be it hills, rocks, stumps, whoever ran out in front of them, whatever. These are the guys and gals that we also feature doing the Barbie Jeep races, so that should tell you just how concerned they truly are when it comes to rollovers, injuries, or potential damage to their rigs. They build these tube-frame creations to withstand just about everything possible. If you need proof as to just how tough a typical rock bouncer rig is, take a look at Ritchie Keith’s “Plowboy II” rig going for a roll down Violator Hill at the Choccolocco Mountain ORV park near Jackson, Alabama. A tumble like that and your author might need a minute to remember which way is up or might need to puke. Keith just gets everybody out of the way, makes sure the rig is still in one piece, then proceeds to show Violator Hill who owns whom!
