Gone Pullin’! Here’s Our Last Gallery From The 2017 Mule City 300 at GALOT Motorsports Park

(Photos by David Whealon) –  Well we have finally made it to the end of David Whealon’s photo coverage from the 2017 Mule City 300 at GALOT Motorsports Park. You’ll see a killer cross section of pulling action here from the diesel pro stockers to the big 9,200lb monsters that have engines mounted in multiple directions all over the chassis.

One of the things that people misunderstand about pulling is weights. In pretty much every other motorsport on Earth when you see a weight it is the minimum weight that a competitor can operate their vehicle at. In pulling, it is the opposite. When you hear about the 9200lb tractors the rule is that they can weigh a maximum of 9,200lbs. Think about it. The heavier you make one of those babies the larger advantage you would gave for traction pulling the sled. The same goes for all of the other classes as well.

We love this stuff and David is awesome at capturing the violence and fury that these tractors lay down. Whether you like them big or small, whether you dig four wheel drive trucks or two, engines by the half dozen or screaming single diesel burners, we’ve got ’em all right here for ya.
