Ever wonder how much of a hit it takes to turn a lorry the size of a Mitsubishi Fuso into an impromptu trophy? Here’s a hint: it involves a heavy wrecker painted up like a cow and the pissed-off driver behind the wheel who might be having some problems at home. Welcome to Truck Banger racing…it’s bump-pass racing crossed with big-rig racing, with a heavier emphasis on the “bump” part, with trucks at least as big as this Leyland-DAF taking part. Tons of fun? Sure, in tons of work truck that are getting their one last violent turn in before something breaks and it’s time for the scrapper to get to work. In other words, if this isn’t up Brian’s alley, I don’t know what is anymore. We are all for demo and destruction, but taking a look at the flat front face of “Flossy” here, and I’m not so sure that you would be able to pay me enough money to drive it in the race.
