Vacation is over, and as I type this I’m watching the sun set over the regional jets parked at Washington-Dulles as I endure a six-hour layover. Not exactly my idea of fun, so the first thing I had to do was to paw through my feeds and get to work, especially since Brian and Chad are busting their asses at Street Car Super Nationals. And the first thing I see in my feed list is a flying Renault Magnum truck and trailer clearing an F1 race car.
Oh, yeah…today is going to be a good day, indeed.
Here’s all that you need to know about what is in this video: Mike Ryan, the Freightliner drifter, is in the Renault. Stunt driver Martin Ivanov is driving the F1 car. The jump is a Guinness World Record for jumping a semi truck at 83 feet, seven inches. No more words are necessary.

WTF! I’ve just enjoyed more than a few scotches watching Newcastle United record their sixth straight win and I go on to my favourite website and see this!
All I can say is that Teachers must put something special in their whisky, I’ve finally gone mad or that this actually happened.
AWESOME! I’ll look at again tomorrow just to make sure. What would have made it better would have been the truck landing on a clump of stinking Chevys that exploded in a giant fireball!
I had to check my calendar to make sure it was not April 1st then made sure it was not photo shopped.
Awesome ! How about Mike Ryan getting together with Ken Block ?
