How Sketchy Can A Cadillac Trar From Florida Be? Diving Into The Best Worst Decision Ever!

How Sketchy Can A Cadillac Trar From Florida Be? Diving Into The Best Worst Decision Ever!

When Jacob first showed off a lifted 1967 Cadillac that had been swapped onto a Chevy K10 frame and was riding on big-ass tires, the first impression…well, let’s be fair. Whenever you inspect a trar setup, you have to do that with a very serious eye for details. Nobody looks at a car and a truck with the plan to marry them into one being and brings twenty tons of engineering and excellent design. In fact, outside of the Banshee Olds and the “Trophy LTD”, I can’t think of another example at the moment. (READ: At the moment, folks! LOL) Usually, what happens is that somebody rolled what was a badass Chevy Blazer, has a Monte Carlo with no drivetrain sitting nearby, scratches their chin and slowly picks up the nearest ratchet wrench. Three days and three cases of beer later and there you go.

Not that I’m knocking trars, and I’m not saying all of them are deathtraps…but it’s wise to look them over before you actually put them to use. And that’s where we find Jacob, in his Quonset hut, crawling in, around, over and through his off-road beast of a Vegas cruiser. With a deadline for hauling it to an off-roading junket soon, things have to be okay. Life would suck if five minutes into the fun, he grenaded that 28-spline 10-bolt out back.
