Yesterday McTaggart poked a little fun at me for my love of big rigs when he posted a video of a cool Mack Superliner truck ripping burnouts. That truck is awesome but when you want to go right to the top of the Mack food chain, here’s where the ride stops. The Killer Mack is the stuff of legend.
From old school Grand Prix videos to the heaviest duty pulling rigs known to mankind and everything in between, that’s what we’re all about here at BangShift. To quote the unsinkable Chad Reynolds, this truck gives me lumber like none other. Known as the “Killer Mack” it is a 998ci, multi-turbocharged Mack E-9 V8 powered destroyer of pulling courses. When you watch the first video below you’ll be blown away by the sheer speed of the thing as it hauls down the course. This isn’t some creeping truck, it is hauling ass…and tens of thousands of pounds.
Dale Francis of Francis Engineering built the truck and that makes him a defacto BangShift legend. . It caught our eye on YouTube one night for a couple reasons, but mainly it was due to the speed it generates while pulling the sled. Truck pulls are not normally high-speed affairs, but the Killer throws that right out the window. This thing is just flat nasty. We’ll put it to you like this. On the weak suck tune, this engine making about 3,000 hp.
PRESS PLAY BELOW TO SEE THE KILLER MACK DEMONSTRATE ALL THAT IS GOOD AND RIGHT IN THE UNIVERSE BY PULLING INSANE WEIGHT AND EVEN CRAZIER SPEEDS!

The ‘Class Act’ Pete is a personal favorite…and he’s doing it with a single turbo. I get a laugh when I hear that someone is making 20psi of boost…these guys are making BOOST!
