(Photos by Charles Wickam) – The Ford F-150 Raptor is one of the most interesting, cool, capable, and all-out bad ass trucks to ever roll off an OEM assembly line. The vast majority of them never see so much as a dirt road which is shameful. The crew at Texas Raptor Run designs events and competitions for these trucks and our own Charles Wickam was at the most recent gathering which was held at the Texas Rally Ranch in Dale.

The trucks range from factory stockers with inexperienced drivers just having fun to widly modified machines that look like they could run Baja tomorrow. As you will see, there was plenty of mud to go around at this event and some trucks handled the soft stuff better than others. Our favorite part of these photos is the fact that you see the trucks being used like the manufacturer intended.

The Rally Ranch has a three mile loop and those that wanted in the competition ran in a time trial style meaning one truck was on course at a time. There were three classes.  Stock, Mod, and Unlimited.  Stock trucks retaining 35s, and stock shocks.  Mod for trucks with 37s and or 3.0 shocks, and Unlimited for trucks with long travel, bypass shocks up front, 18″ rear shocks, etc.
