We’re literally going to get 2014 going with a bang around here at Nutting and I will be at Sunday River Ski Resort next week in Maine to cover Red Bull Frozen Rush 2015 in person. There will be live video of the event on the site and we’ll have all the inside scoop on the trucks, the racers, and the thrash to get them set up to be the fastest on a unique snow course at the sprawling Maine mountain range. We’ve spent some time telling you about the event in recent weeks and we have even ridden with the 2014 winner and all-around dude of dudes Ricky Johnson in the same time frame but when you see the full spectacle it will really knock your freshly gifted Christmas socks off.

In this video you get a speedy look back at the 2014 event and the course that the racers hit last year. This year’s course has some new obstacles and technical sections that will be throwing all these guys a new wrinkle. In the coming days we’ll share some cool animation and information on the course layout for 2015 but the crossover jump is back as well as the head to head nature of the race. In fact, the way this course is laid out the trucks will be drag racing to the finish at the end of their respective runs if both guys have hammered down the full length of the race. The single eliminations, bracket style format is just like you’d see at the drags as well. Lose and you are out. Win and you continue on. No screwing around here!
