Red Bull Frozen Rush Is Coming Back To Maine And BangShift Will Be There!

Red Bull Frozen Rush Is Coming Back To Maine And BangShift Will Be There!

Perhaps the biggest single regret of 2014 is that BangShift (ok ME) screwed up royally and failed to cover the Red Bull Frozen Rush race which was held at the Sunday River Ski Resort in Maine. This is the event where Pro 4 stadium trucks are raced over a course made of snow that includes big banked corners, jumps, and sideways snow throwing action like you have never seen. Take all of that and set it against one of the most beautiful areas of New England and you have the makings of an epic event. There are two immediate pieces of great news regarding Red Bull Frozen Rush. The first is that we’re locked in to cover the event, which happens in early January and the second is that next week we’ll be attending a media preview and riding shotgun with Ricky Johnson in a race truck. Yes, you read that right.

If you live in New England and have a pulse you need to find a way to attend this deal which is happening January 8-9. There’s nothing else like this that happens in our region of the country as all of these style trucks mostly race in the midwest and in the western part of the country. Luckily Maine has snow like California has loose sand so that’s why the course can be perfectly sculpted into the mechanical playground that the Red Bull racers like.

We’re going to be telling you more about the race and everything going on with it in the coming weeks but for now mark your calendars and get ready for the BangShifter inside look at Red Bull Frozen Rush 2015!
