Off-Roading Fun: This Early-1950’s Chevy Goes For A Romp In An Off-Roader’s Playground

It has an alcohol-swilling 540ci Chevy with a 12-71 blower under the hood that’s good for 1,300 horsepower. It has 2.5 ton axles front and rear hooked to a tube frame. It has beautiful black paint offset by the red frame…and it has Ryan Camp for a driver, a man who has absolutely no fear of getting what most would consider a show truck absolutely dirty. The Chevy is known as “Sick 50” and Camp isn’t the least bit shy about getting this large-by-huge truck muddy or airborne. That 540 makes sweet music as the truck takes a running start into the mud.
