The winters are a lot longer than the racing season in the nordic region, so guys in places like Sweden need to make their own fun. Apparently that fun came in the form of a snowy street cruise involving an alcohol funny car last winter. BangShift reader Don McGinnis tipped us off to this video of the sleigh ride and it cracked us up, especially the “big finish” that the driver pulled off at the end of the deal.

At first we thought that the local police had blocked off the traffic for this stunt to occur but upon further inspection, it looks like the henchmen from the race team are acting as traffic control as the flopper revs, slides, and throttle blips its way down the street and even over what appears to be a speed bump! Because of the low surface pressure exerted by the huge slick and the fact that they have zero tread whatsoever, we were kind of surprised that the car wanted to move at all! We wish that there was in-car video because the butterfly style steering wheel must have been sawing back and forth to keep the car moving in the straight line.
