Tim Cameron has been one of the big players in the world of rock bouncing and its evolution into rock racing through the entire history of the genre. The guy shows no signs of slowing down, either. This video serves as proof as you’ll watch Cameron attack the Hawk Pride course like an absolute beast in his buggy. This is kind of like a southern fried version of King of the Hammers in a much more compressed scale. It is hardcore as hell and because it is a race, speed and time are of the essence.
When you watch this thing you’ll expect that Cameron is just hammer down the whole time bouncing his way over stuff. While there is some violence, there is plenty of driving going on here in the form of planning and strategy. For instance the angle we see of Cameron hammering through a deep gully and approaching a near vertical climb of rickshas all the makings of mechanical violence, except when the buggy approaches the rocks instead of hammering the gas, Cameron uses the suspension available to him on the buggy and walks his way over before using the pedal on the right to finish the climb.
Like any motorsport, the rock bouncing world which has given way to the rock racing world changes and improves year after year, build after build. That being said, Tim Cameron still knows what the heck he is doing!
