SUV Of Doom: Watch This Denali Spin Both Rollers On An AWD Dyno To The Tune Of 775HP To The Tires!

SUV Of Doom: Watch This Denali Spin Both Rollers On An AWD Dyno To The Tune Of 775HP To The Tires!

We’ve said it a lot over the years and the fact is nothing is cooler in our book than big and fast. Big is good, fast is good, but big and fast together? That’s as nice as beer and chocolate cake. This 2011 Denali came from the factory with a pretty stout LS3 engine which was good enough for a while but like all things in hot rodding, more is better. The more we’re speaking of is horsepower and the owner decided to wick this thing up by bolting a Whipple blower to the top of the engine and having it tuned to make big suds. The results are shown in the video below and they’re pretty impressive. The big SUV bellows out a dyno pull that registers 775hp to the tires. We dig the fact that it is a 4WD dyno as well because it is cool to see both the front and rear ends working to put the power down.

We could say more but we don’t need to. This video really tells the tale. BEWARE THE SUV OF DOOM!

Brian, a pro tip (and I know it’s different in the world of auto journalism) – in the trade a chassis dyno is “the rolls”, never “the rollers”. Just so you know……
