That’s Gonna Hurt In The Morning: Watch As The “Black Out” Rock Bouncer Barrel-Rolls Down At The ARC Race!

The full-coverage overkill cages that you see on rock bouncers isn’t for show. When you combine lots of power, heavy right feet and incline angles that aren’t advisable for mountain goats, let alone wheeled vehicles, sooner or later that ‘cage is going to get tested out and that whole “an object in motion stays in motion” line you learned in school comes into play. These buggies aren’t light on their feet and until they hit the bottom of the hill or a tree (or, possibly both), they aren’t stopping and the driver is simply along for the ride.

This bouncer, “Black Out”, is owned by Abe Tallon and as you can plainly see, was not having a good day out at Hawk Pride ORV Park in Alabama. Unlike a lot of bouncer wrecks, Black Out wasn’t trying to blast up the hill, but was coming down instead. From the moment the buggy’s rear tires went over the edge and upset the chassis, the roll was inevitable. Five barrel rolls later, and Tallon was able to walk away from the accident. If you need to know just how brutal this crash was, listen to the impact noises…they will tell you how bad it truly was.

Some damn hard hits and no broken axles or even popping a bead, just a broken shock mount. Very stout rig!
