The Tale Of Two Trars: Both Of These Are Blazer Based And You Can Only Have One – Which Is It?

The Tale Of Two Trars: Both Of These Are Blazer Based And You Can Only Have One – Which Is It?

Brady Basner of XS Power Batteries it us with a nearly unanswerable question the other day. See, he sent us the two Craigslist ads that we have below and tried to force us to make a decision about which one of these things we’d chose to own, the 1960 Ranchero trar or the 1962 Chevy II trar. Both of these are built off of Chevy Blazer chassis although one is a K5 style Blazer and the other is the smaller 2003-ers Blazer. One seems like a more straight ahead job of placing the body on the chassis whereas the other seems to be far more complex and involved with body work and fabrication that looks pretty hardcore.

Check out both of these builds and tell us which one you would want to own. Neither is not really an option here. You need to pick one and while that may not be the easiest thing, nothing worth doing is easy.

Here’s the Nova….hit the link below the photos –

  1. Mouse

The Nova is a car plunked on a 4×4 chassis, Yawn!
The Ranchero looks like something the factory might have done.
Take the Ranchero, it has the potential for turning heads.

Raunchero for sure! Looks more Baja 1000/ Parnelli Jones than Nova which is more Joe Dirt at the Redneck Yacht Club…..

I like the K5 chassis better but the nova is pretty trashed. The falcon has a unique look to it. I’d go with the falcon.
