Our inner redneck loves TRARs. What’s a TRAR?… Please turn your BangShift card in as you leave. Okay, we’re kidding. Sort of. A TRAR is a Truck Chassis with a Car Body, and generically speaking we love them. I know, I know, it’s not right. Anyone with good taste should hate these things. But we don’t, and we’re not really sure why. The guys at Autometer put this one up on their Facebook page and asked their followers if they would rock this 3rd Gen Camaro TRAR. The response was overwhelmingly positive. What do you think?
What makes us laugh most when we look at this thing is the fact that if it was sitting on a giant pair of Mickey Thompson Sportsmans, and had skinnies up front it would look like some 90’s Pro Streeter with a decal package. The fact that the car itself appears to be “nicely” done makes it arguably harder to decide if it’s good. If instead it was a straight from the used car lot 3rd Gen strapped to the top of a Blazer chassis we’d be all thumbs up. Should we be torn just because it has nice paint?
You decide. What do you think of this 3rd Gen Camaro TRAR?
Must be a bitch to parallel park it in NYC…
