Video: The Most Insanely Complex, Smokey, and Slow Motorcycle Ever Built

We applaud creativity here. We applaud people who are individuals and that are not encumbered by the hum-drum normal thought process everyone else seems to be. These are often the most interesting and exciting people you’ll ever meet in your life. That being said, no every idea is world class, not every idea is something we can jump our of our chairs and dance a jig to. No, some of the ideas are for things like an off-road tire equipped, air suspended, hydrostatically driven, turbo diesel powered motorcycle. We love this guy’s enthusiasm his ability and his creativity. The end result though? Tough to watch.

The first video we can see the rider cruising at about 45mph down the road. He claims that the motorcycle will go a total of about 80-90mph wide open. Of course we’re talking about a hydrostatic drive here so not a transmission in the traditional sense. Because the thing is set up to be a cruiser and mileage eater it is set up to be happy at the higher RPM ranges of highway cruising. That being said, it does not have the UMPH that one would need to be successful in out running a school bus across an intersection. It is SLOW and you’ll see that best illustrated in the second video below.

The last thing is all the smoke and soot from the turbo four banger belching out of the machine. We expected a little smoke on startup and rolling off from a standing start but this is the automotive equivalent to the Peanuts character Pig Pen. Everywhere this thing goes a cloud of blackness follows it. It could be the first motorcycle ever that needs a Canary attached to it to judge the air quality as best as possible.

We’re not knocking the builder, fabricator and dreamer that came up with this concept, just having a little fun. Here’s to hoping he sticks with it!

Multiple videos below and you literally have to see it to believe it –

  1. Chevy Hatin' Mad Geordie

This guy might actually be onto something!

Install that neat transmission on an enduro bike and after exhaustive testing punt it around a few manufacturers. As off-road riding is usually slower than road riding the low top speed shouldn’t be a problem.

What’s the matter Chevy Hatin’ Geordie haters – pissed off because I didn’t post a witty comment?

Gotta love this guys machines.. this thing looks like it came from Jules Verne and would maybe make an interesting item on Jay Leno’s show explaining how everything works.
But yes, looks like it’d run at about 4 cph (canaries per hour).

My god what an incredible waste of time and money. My boner shrank as soon as I hit the play button.

90mph??? Really??? Bring that boat anchor to Wilmington Ohio and put your money where your mouth is. I call Bullshit.

What a piece of CRAP. In no way is that legal to drive on roadways. Looks like he is fogging the neighborhood for mosquito control.
