Utah’s Jarod Hall has gained instant access to the BangShift hall of fame for conceiving, designing, and construction the vehicle you see before you. What is it? Basically it is an overgrown Banshee ATV that is powered by a 12-valve Cummins inline six cylinder engine removed from a junked up Dodge truck. The whole chassis is built from 2″ diameter steel tubing, the engine still has the factory automatic transmissions bolted to the back of it, and the thing still weighs more than a ton! We have read that the creation tips the scales at 2,100lbs. When you watch the videos and see the size of the thing along with considering that the engine and transmission make up more than half of that total weight, it makes more sense.

Despite being heavier than you’d expect the rear wheel drive, giant ATV looks like it really hauls the mail. You will see it drag a real deal pulling sled (with the weight box set on a pretty low setting, but it is hella impressive nonetheless) in front of a crowd and we have thrown in some bonus video so you can see it unladen throwing dirt and rocks for fun. This monster screws and apparently Hall takes it out to the dunes and the sand drags pretty often. We would be doing the exact same thing. Because the motor has so little load on it, we bet it sips fuel at an absurdly slow rate.

Multiple stories we found on the truck claim that Hall has two weeks of work into the whole thing, We’d have two weeks in the planning phase alone and let’s not even get into what would happen when the welders came out. Hall had a vision and he executed it. Now you get to enjoy the fruits of his labor. Oh…do you want one? We bet he’d whip another up for profit. We’ve already been told by the team of BangShift “better halves” that we’re not allowed to sell our spare kidney.
