Fine, we’ll admit that we like watching big truck tug of war competitions. Why? They are loud, and they have carnage, and the trucks are completely and utterly ridiculous. Those are three of about 6,000 reasons we like that junk but the guys at Trucks Gone Wild added a new element to the fun by placing the huge trucks in a shallow, sloppy pit. The rigs now have screaming engines, the pulling strain that we all know and love, but have added a massive element of wetness and glop chucking that the inner 10 year old in us just cannot get enough of.
You will see all different kinds of trucks get after it in this one. There’s something about hearing two roaring engines running at nearly full bore while basically sitting still that gives us the chills. The Ford which dominates a much larger truck at the beginning of the video is really a romper stomper and that guy is not afraid of the skinny pedal on the right side of the foot box. While he is not on the gas long enough to get the headers cooking cherry red, they were certainly on their way before he lifted.
There is something weirdly entertaining about seeing a truck running at full tilt and being dragged rearward against its will. Obviously you will see some differences in gearing, strategy, tire style, and weight have a big impact on most of these parings. Yes, there is even a little carnage for you in here as well.
