The guys on MythBusters have done some seriously cool stuff on TV over the years to prove or disprove things that have happened in movies, old wives’ tales, and their own theories on stuff but this one takes the cake. The guys mounted a huge cow catcher looking rig on the front of a dump truck and then decided to see what would happen if they drove it down the middle of two columns of parked cars. To say that the results were spectacular would be an understatement. It literally could not have worked any better, looked any cooler, or made us smile any bigger. This is some seriously neat stuff. especially when you see full sized vans, station wagons, and other cars flying like they’re kids’ toys!

The dump truck looks like a Ford to us and the whole rig that the MythBusters guys added is straight out of Mad Max. The “plow” unit itself it really neat but then there is a huge steel frame that comes up to protect the cab in the event one of the cars decided to not follow the program. The unit worked so well that you can barely see scratches or other damage done. This thing is the ultimate traffic problem solver! As they guys note, you are really seeing an insane demonstration of what happens as water gets pushed off the bow of a boat in a body of water, except this time the “water” is a pile of completely mangled cars.

If there’s ever been anything we have wanted to try ourselves from MythBusters, this stunt is IT!
