Watch This Big Block Ford Powered Monster Pickup Haul The Sled And Pull Wheelies

Ok, consider this this big block powered Ford truck is too cool not to share. Sitting on big 2.5-ton Rockwell axles and sounding all the world like it is ready to bust free from the sled and make a 13-second drag pass, we love everything about this rig. The bonus for us is the fact that it likes to pull the nose up while pulling and how it used the pulling course literally from wall to wall! This truck isn’t heading straight for a stretch of time longer than a couple of feet.

The truck really sounds good when the driver pours on the coals at the end of the run to keep himself from digging into the track and he went into the soft sand trap at the end of the course. We wish we knew more about the engine and transmission but we have to assume that the old “there’s no replacement for displacement” thought process applied here and the guy is running some big, hairy, bored and stroked version of the Ford 385-series big block under the hood. Maybe the best part of the whole thing is the fact that the truck has the looks of a primordial monster truck from the era when the tires were getting bigger and bigger but not quite at the 66″ standard yet. The tube roll bar in the bed and the fact that it wears factory style paint and all the trim are toppers for us! Boy this thing sounds mean!

This is a mean truck that we really, really want. Especially with those super lugged tires!
