Yeah, yeah we know. Don’t go all Bill Nye the flipping science guy on us here. Clearly the large barge is heavier than the truck and has way more contact patch with the ground, but it is still pretty fun watching it hook up to a high horsepower mud truck and drag it like a dog’s chew toy. The party wagon thing appears to be powered by a big block Chevy engine and it is underpinned with Rockwell top loader axles, so mechanically it is pretty stout. Additionally, there is the massive frame, support structure, and party deck filled with beer swilling southern gentlemen (and a couple gentle-women) celebrating the triumphs of their massive craft.
What’s the point of this big thing? Basically it serves the same purpose as a pontoon boat on a lake but it gets used at mud bogging and mega truck events. You pile all of your pals on it and go cruising out in the muck and mire to get a front row seat to the action while all of the mere mortals are stuck watching from the banks of whatever massive mudhole the trucks are slogging through. On any given weekend we’re sure that multiple people are sleeping on this thing and have levels of fun that would get us jailed if we tried to explain them in detail. NEVER shine a black light on the party deck…..never.
Big cubic inches, big tires, and big fun. That’s the scene in this video and since the party wagon is for sale, the next YouTube film could be featuring you. Think about that for a second. Seems like a lot of pressure being the second guy to own this thing but hey, you’re up for it. Just call us when you buy it as we want to be the first to smash a bottle of Bud over the front to christen the thing!
