Track days are all about getting your ride onto the track and letting it all hang out. Boosted rally rocket? Great! Italian supercar? All the better! Giant-ass six-wheel drive truck? Uh….what?
Someone with a ton of money and a great sense of humor decided to take his G63 and go play with the big boys at Circuit Park Zandvoort in The Netherlands. While the beastly Merc was going around corners exactly as you would expect a giant truck to do (with all of the grace of the hippo ballerinas in Fantasia), once straightened up, it was running hard. Cars behind the big rig were slowing early to make sure that the truck could brake without risking rolling over in a corner. I’m sure the cars in front were hustling to get the hell out of the way, lest they be ran over. That would be an awkward conversation with a track official.

That is the real-life rich-boy version of running a Hot Wheels or Matchbox truck against a sports car. Now, if you really want to impress me, run that 6×6 on a loop-de-loop and/or a jump (ideally though a hoop of fire). Then stop it by running into a humongous pile of pillows or some giant-sized shag carpet…
She turns like a cow on stilts!
