Sheldon Creed may not have taken first place during the Stadium Supertrucks race at the Clipsal 500 in Adelaide, but he took home third place, Crowd Favorite and every style point available with his finish during the last race. Creed and Robby Gordon had been battling it out for second place, and at the final corner before the straight, Gordon snuck around the inside and took the spot. Creed, not about to let that be the end of it. put his foot to the floor and was intent on passing Gordon on the final jump, but the truck launched towards the fence instead of straight. As he landed he tried to correct it and was rewarded for his efforts with a mild rollover that put him into the fence, where the truck righted itself. In a spirit that the Aussies loved, he was right back on the throttle and going again. If you’re going to wreck, do it spectacularly!
This has to be by far the best, most exciting racing series that has come along in the last 20 years! Hats off to Robbie Gordon for bringing us such incredible side by side racing! I was never a real big fan of his until he created this. Not that he cares but he has my full respect for this one. If you are not watching these races you are missing out on some great action.
Wheels down, FULL THROTTLE!!
Robbie Gordon SUCKS he went OFF track and pushed Sheldon out of the way !!!!
Typical Robby Gordon nonsense. The racing series is great but he’s a dick. When I used to watch Nascar he was always causing accidents and problems for others. Guess he hasn’t learned that playing dirty eventually gets some one hurt.
