Thanks to BangShifter Matt Mattos we have another video featuring the now legendary waterproof unstoppable rc truck. In this installment the truck is driven straight into a pond and driven around under 5ft of water like it ain’t no thang. In fact, the truck crawls over rocks and the water combined with the dirt the thing is kicking up at the bottom of the pond makes for some really compelling video to watch. Make sure you see until the end because there’s an “in car” view that is really awesome, especially because there’s a tiny man loaded into the cockpit of the truck.
There’s one thing that makes us slightly annoyed because when we were kids an RC car would die if you looked at it crosseyed. Sometimes you would drive them through sand and the motors would eat themselves up or the gears would. They were fragile and the fact that you can now have an RC car (after lots of work we’re sure) that can go from a kick ass truck to a kick ass submarine with nothing more than the decision to drive it in the water is pretty sweet.
