Creative people are the reason that the world is fun place to live in, right? Thanks to the miracle of the internet, the creativity of people who otherwise would work in the shadows is able to be showed off and even celebrated in videos like the one you are about to see below. In this film, one of the top prop building companies in Hollywood constructs, from scratch, a Batman Tumbler stroller for a hardcore Batman fan and his son. From the steel frame right through the insanely detailed body, they crush this task.
This video is part of a series called “epic fan builds” and most of the stuff isn’t really all that BangShifty but this one sure is! We think that the Tumbler is the best Batmobile ever because of all the insane stuff that it does and the fact that it has those huge Mickey Thompson steam rollers up front with the mondo off road tires out back. It crushes stuff, jumps stuff, and is generally unstoppable. In kid pushing form, it doesn’t really do any of those things well but it certainly is a boss stroller with a comfy seat and looks that literally no other stroller on planet Earth has ever had. Details down to the coil over shocks are included and the process of building it (which is the focal point of the video) is really spectacular.
Yes there’s a lot of junk and nonsense on the internet, but stuff like this totally redeems the whole operation. You have artisans and craftsmen and women working together with their combined skill sets to create something for a kid they have never met and will likely only see once in their lives. We think that is pretty spectacular. Watching them build this thing is even better!
As cool as this is and as much as I love batman, I dont think I would want to push this stroller all day or have to pull a trailer to haul it.
Anybody else, upon first catching a glimpse of the pic, think it was a Z-mower?
