Watch This Backhoe Operator Deftly Lower Himself Into A Storm Runoff Channel

Backhoe operators come in all shapes and sizes. There are the guys who rent them from a local place to dig a hole in their backyard and end up hitting a gas main, there are the guys who run the machines perched on top of rail cars to unload them, and then there are the true Jedi Masters like the dude in this video who runs this machine like an extension of himself.

You are going to see the guy deftly lower himself into what looks to be some sort of storm runoff channel or perhaps concrete river bed in order to clean it out. He uses the bucket in the front and the backhoe arm in the back like the machine’s limbs and does a really nice job of setting the thing down without incident. If you did not know what the hell you were doing in this process we’re thinking that it could end in tears and a massive repair bill.

We’d say don’t try this at home but we’re thinking that few of you actually have a backhoe and a bridge at your immediate disposal so perhaps we’re safe in skipping that warning. All we know is that if we ever wanted to lean this maneuver, we’re calling the operator in the video because this guy is pro level!
