Sometimes you come across potential projects that just look too weird and messed up to be saved. This C10 is one of them. With a top that has been “chopped” in all the wrong ways, and all kinds of other weirdness going on, it is pretty easy to discount this thing as a lost cause, but it does have some good parts and pieces that make you want to at least save part of it. Or do you cut out the wacky and make it something fun but less weird? These are the questions going through Newbern’s head as he grabs hold of another “project” at his friend Bert’s house and takes it home. Will it just be parts? Will it actually be a running and driving machine again? Let’s see what he figures out.
You’ll laugh because even his kid is busting his balls about another project vehicle. I love it, and feel his pain.
Video Description:
On this episode we visit my friend Bert, who has a truck he wants to part with. Instead of this truck going to the junkyard I figured we could do something with it, I just don’t know what. Its a 1969 C30 that someone chopped the top on. The floors in this truck are mint! What do we do with it?
I think the current truck roofs have too much head room so I rather have a chopped top instead of a high roof. A 4inch chop is acceptable these days.
