Re: Newbies Introduce Yourself Here! Welcome!

                          Hi All,

Mr.Mopar here. My real name is Brian, and I hale from Central, cowtown, NY. I have had an affection for drag racing ever since I got my first Snake and Mongoose Hot Wheels set as a kid, and am psyched that my buddy sent me this link on Saturday so I could watch the time trials and finals for TF and FC! I have never been to a drag race, but plan to pay a visit to the 1/8 mile track in Owego, NY this summer. I spent all my time trying to be a rockstar, and missed out on WAY too much in life but that is changing this year. :-)

I had some cool cars when I was younger, but never owned a Mopar. My pride and joy was a 550HP 71 Monte, that my first wife made me sell. Had I known then what I know now, I would have gotten rid of her, and kept the car. LOL

I hope to someday fulfill my dream of owning a Cuda, but my last name isn't Trump, so I don't think that dream will ever become a reality. My brother owned a sweet 74 Duster when we were younger, that I loved, so I would be happy to find a reasonably priced Duster that isn't a rot box, or a bondo bucket.

                              Hello,
My name is Jim Nolan and I live in Warsaw, In. I'm retired and use a 1957 Ford Fairlane as a daily driver. The 57 also took 1st place last year at Carlisle last year in the 57-59 Ford and Mercury Full Size class, so it's not your common daily driver. It has a 390ci/300hp engine with Tremec TKO 600 Transmission and 3.70 Equi-Loc rear gear. I'm building a 63 Galaxie 500 XL Boxtop also. It has a 390ci/350hp engine that uses all 406 parts except the cam and pistons. It has a Jay Broader C6 transmission and a 3.25 Trac-loc rear gear. Jim
