I will take your word for it.

Don't take my word for it, read up. Something to do with exercise making you hungry, so you eat more...yet you don't use the fat to get the energy used by the exercise....

Anyways there's lots of science in the book, which seems to be lacking in most discussion of the subject.

Keep it up Mikey! I was 167 this morning.
The trick to exercise is eating the carbs your body uses to make energy, and does not store......most effective when you use the large muscle groups.....I walk briskly, which really can be considered to be more aerobic than fat-burning, but it works for me. I ran (seriously) for years, but I'm beyond that now....walking is good!

Stopped drinking anything with sugar, only coffee and water. Cut back on everything, eating very healthy with mostly veggies and fruit. Staying exactly the same for a month now and only 1500 calories a day.

Winter sucks. I cant get active so I hate you all.

Not necessarily. You might want to reconsider what is "eating right". If that includes bread, potatoes, sugar, etc then you might want to read "Why We Get Fat, And What To Do About It"

Good going Russell! I'm down 29 as of this morning but I don't count a weigh-in until I sustain it for a while. So we'll see where this leads.

I heard one time you should loose weight in a stair step pattern. Loose 30 then maintain that for a while so your mind/body adjust and that becomes your new normal. That way when you loose more the next time if you slip you don't have as far to fall.

HMMM, my wife has been running and getting fit, so I guess I need to step up too. SIGH<grin> I've been working on her to do a girls with cars shoot, so far no-go.

225 here and need to loose 25ish. and evaluate.
Sadly, I suspect that I may not carry the 200 as I once did.

Since I dont own a scale, I got weighed at the doc's office this week. 142 with my suit on. I think it was the tie that made me sound over weight.
